The cost of the assessment is based on the Australian Psychological Society’s National Schedule of Recommended Fees for the current financial year, with most non-medicolegal assessments costing in the vicinity of $1800.  Rebates are not currently available under Medicare.  Private insurers typically cover a small component of the cost, though the amount depends on the insurer and level of cover.

 

Neuropsychological assessment reports will not be released until payment of the invoice has been made in full.

 

Overdue invoices will accrue interest at a rate of 10% of the total fee per week.
